We had approximately 175 attendees. The stall holders and exihibters were very happy with the turn out. The coffee kiosk could hardly keep up with orders and the ladies cooking were flat out!
The club was able to sell quite a bit of items and some members did well selling some of their gear.
The social aspect was wonderful! So much fun meeting fellow amateurs and putting a face to a name! This is one of the reasons we do a HAMFEST: to promote the club and offer a social venue for amateurs from the local area and from far away destinations. The club signed up a few new members and some members renewed their memberships. GCARS is back!
Thank you to all who attended: the exhibiters, stall holders, cooks and GCARS members who helped set up and tear down, too many to name but you know who you are! A big thank you to all those who purchased raffle tickets, your donation is a big help to the club. Our club member Mark won the main prize this year: an antenna analyser that will come in very handy!
