On 18 October 2025 GCARS hosted a JOTA event for the Girl Guides from the Gold Coast. There were 17 Guides and 7 leaders. The programme included learning how to solder, put together an electronic kit plus getting on air and making a QSO in order to earn a badge. [...]

The decision was made to just drop the old site and start fresh. Our new site will look bare but we will be working on filling it with lots of news, photos and education. (We took a snapshot copy of the website for history sake).
