Big Cleanup Day Two 2021

We couldn’t help ourselves. Jamie VK4XD, Aidan VK4APM, his son Oscar and myself Gab VK4GAB headed down to the club for round 2.

It all started with a plan to pressure wash the concrete outside the club and paint the radio room to freshen it up. It turned out to be more..

The Downpipe connecting to the gutter just next to the toilets was reattached so it doesn’t leak.A new downpipe was installed to the other side of the verandah’s gutter as it is starting to drop at that side.Larger holes were drilled in the corners of the Verandah where water pools up so it can drain outside. The verandah was completely cleaned, walls, windows, bricks (both sides) gutters and the ground of course. We used an outdoor concrete cleaner.
The Concrete path on the other side of the clubhouse was also pressure washed.

The old, broken air-conditioner from the radio room was removed, as well as the compressor outside. Ready for a brand new, properly working unit!
All the antennas that were left on the tables inside were relocated into the green shed..The linear actuators on the trailer that holds up the front solar panels were repaired.
The Workshop was stripped of all the old shelving.
Expanding foam installed behind the conduit pipes coming down the wall of the radio room.

The radio room was emptied of all radios, walls cleaned and painted with Dulux “Lexicon” paint.
Pizza was consumed.
